I’ve added a new website to the Basketball Overseas network!! Since 2005 Basketball Connect.com has served as social networking for players, agents, teams and coaches. We have grown tremendously throughout the past 6 years, however to make it easy for new users who are looking for mostly information, I have created a separate channel to share other topics and questions within Pro Basketball Forum. I have taken the old forum from Basketball Connect and have redirected it’s own domain and space. Above is a screenshot of the forum and we look to grow and create a meeting point for those with questions and those looking for answers.

The great feature of this app as well are the charts that are produced and that can be filtered.

Overall the app is pretty good. I love the option in version 2.05, that you can print the basketball stats reports via an Airprint compatible printer!

The name of this service is Rebtel and how it works is you connect to another phone without the use of a computer. First you must sign up free with Rebtel and then after you must register with your primary phone number. This can be your home phone number or cell phone. If you have a cell-phone plan with unlimited minutes I would use that number. If you don’t go ahead and use the house number for your primary. You will be designated a Rebtel phone number and depending where your friends are they will receive a local phone number which they can call you and which you can call them.

I had several problems understanding how it worked when I first got started but it is a breeze now. It is as simple as this:

1. You sign up and you place all of your phone numbers which you can be reached.

2. Your friend signs up with their phone number and they will receive a Rebtel number

3. You put your friends normal phone number in your contact list and your friend does the same for you.

4. You both will be given a rebtel phone number which is a local number for you to connect without charges (depending your phone plans).

5. Now that you have your friends number you can call them and they will have to call you back on the number that is assigned to you. It will be local for them if they for example live in another country.

Not only that you can get news in your language if its not English that you speak or read.

If you have players that are looking to go either to a college prep or community colleges program please keep us in mind for the upcoming fall 2007. The program does not have any scholarships available at this time.

Players will have a chance to play against some of the toughest competition in the country. Mile High Basketball Academy will play various prep schools team, which includes IMG from Florida, Genesis One from Mississippi, Boys to Men’s from Illinois, and many more exciting teams from around the country. Also if you have players that did not get to play first semester at a college and is looking for a home please let them know about Mile High Basketball Academy. Players that come in second semester do not have to sit out to become eligible to play. Players that attend MHBA will have a chance to be seen by various college coaches from Junior Colleges through NCAA Division I school from around the country.
