This past winter I start using the Insanity Workout DVDs that a couple of friends recommended. They explained to me that it was interval training but flipped upside down and a hell of a workout. I thought that I’d give it a try, thinking it would be fairly easy… Well I was wrong.. I’ve had many sport trainings and workouts however, the Insanity Workout with <strong>Shaun T and company its probably one of the best and hardest that I’ve done.

It is <strong>60 days of pure interval training at very high levels. The first month alone is enough to smack someone lol.. But I love the hard work throughout the week. Training 5 days a week and a fit tests after every two weeks. I noticed lots of improvements and thought to myself during the offseason, that this would be awesome for basketball players. My current Insanity schedule is waking up between 7-8 am to get it out of the way. Later in the afternoon some hoops.

The program includes a diet plan that could easily fit for basketball players during the off-season and some of the workouts cater to different sports including basketball. Defensive position, vertical jump improvement, core body strength and get shoulder arm workouts for shooting.

    Insanity is a great program, especially for building up the legs.
