March Madness Hops Sneaker Contest – You In?
My friend Sean McCaw, a former professional basketball player and coach in Germany and now a professional basketball Scout for the Science City Jena Basketball Club in Germany wants to give away a BRAND NEW shiny pair of Hops sneakers. You’ve probably never heard of this brand yet, so here is a little background info.
Hops Sportswear Ltd is a family owned Business based in Melbourne Australia. 2 years in the making this original brand was dreamt up in New Zealand, developed in Australia, designed in Italy and built in China. Hops was launched in November 2007. They have their own patented ‘Medial Wing’ technology that provides optimum stability throughout the light weight HOPS product, without taking away from the strength and durability of Hops footwear. Hops is now available in all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada in the USA.

The winner will be selected on April 8th 2009. The winner will be announced on Basketball Overseas and in the newsletter. So please subscribe to our newsletter to enter the contest and find out if you’ve won!
The winner has 3 days to confirm by contacting me. Please have ready your address and shoe size. If the first winner does not confirm or contact me, another contestant will be chosen.
This is a worldwide contest and the shoes can be sent to anywhere in the world!

Those White/Carolina mids are sweet! I haven’t heard of Hops before but I really like the looks of those. I’ve only ever worn Nike and Adidas to play in, but I’d really like to try these out!

I like the white and carolina blue pair of sneakers. They look like a good basketball shoe but to see the comfortability I would have to try them on. All in all I like the shoes a lot because they are unique.

They look like alright basketball shoes, They look to heavy on the foot though while running up and down the basketball court. I prefer light shoes on the foot that have the same experience like MJs shoes that are heavier then most basketball sneakers. However my favorite on out of all of them is the all baby blue and white ones in the picture. Then would be the green ones.

The shoes are really nice I like the Black And Blue ones they remind me of the first penny hardaways that came out except these look more softer and comfortable. I can imagine coming of a screen getting the ball facing my defender up jab stepping and blowing pass him attacking the rim going up for a thunder dunk and all he see’s is the word HOPS in his face. Now who really has HOPS. The shoes are the bomb keep up the good work

I’m digging the Kelly Green Hops. I like the lo-cut style of the show, they look a bit shorter than the classic hightop. Definitely a sweet design. Size 10 baby.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE HOPS COLLECTION. MY FAVORITE ARE THE BLUE/ORANGE PAIR. Honestly these shoes are just plain HOTT! They look like they would feel great. The black/duke blue are probably my fav of those although the blue/orange are a very close second. I’d like to wear those with a lebron james knicks jersey in 2010!!
