Have you ever thought about playing wheelchair basketball? It never came across my mind mostly because I always thought it was for those that had medical handicaps. But it was brought to my attention by Emanuele Garau who is a member of the Italian Paralympic Committee (Rome) and Project Manager of “B.I.C. Italia” web site (www.basketincarrozzina.it)

The website offers an English/Spanish etc. versions, news, photos, history, results, schedule, and contact information uploaded every day. It is the top visited website by Italians searching for information about wheelchair basketball.

There are international leagues. I will post more information in the coming weeks.
