I’m guilty as charged. Don’t sell yourself short. I see it more often than before because of the internet but players often say “I’ll play for free”. This will not get you a job. Show your stuff, be confident and the rest will take care of itself.

If you are prepared as I have written about previously in due time a team will find you or vice versa. If you can afford to play without pay by all means for the experience do what you have to do, but I don’t encourage it. Your labor and love of the game is worth something. No one has to work for free so please when you see a post in a forum about a new job. DO NOT POST
