I would like to know if anyone has any information about any tryouts going on any time soon or in the new future. I am 5′11 165lbs, can run the 2,3, or even a smaller 4. I have a numerous amount of awards pertaining to basketball and I know I can hang. I know someone knows something about some underground top secret tryouts or something of that sort. I will be able to cover all of the exspenses all I need is some court time to show what I’ve got. I want to get on a team ASAP. If anyone knows of any opportunities please email me or post a message.

  15. Mary Lewis  |  November 27th, 2007 at 1:01 #

    To whom it may concern,
My name is Mary Lewis. I am a 5″4 point guard/shooting guard from Boston, MA. I am looking to play basketball overseas or in the WMBA, assuming that I can build my athletic resume to the point where I have enough to prove my ability and experience to play in the WNBA. I have the ability to play in either leagues. I am determined to live my dream, which is to play professional basketball. However, because I did not come from a DI school or get enough publicity through playing DII, it is a lot harder to get a shot at playing at that level. I am teaching at the moment to keeping in shape. I am currently playing in inner city leagues and working out. If you have any contacts that I can contact to send any information needed, please contact me at bostonma_ml10@hotmail.com. I am open to suggestions as well.
Thank you for your attention to this small letter. Again, if you need a resume please contact me at the address listed above.

  18. Tekeshia Mitchell  |  December 12th, 2007 at 1:01 #

My name is Tekeshia Mitchell. I’m from Martinsville Va. I’m 26 years old and I stand 5 feet 4 inches tall. I play point guard but I also can play shooting guard. I can shoot and I can get you the ball. I never did go to an division one simply because my grade wasn’t right at the time. I did attend Louisburg college located in North Carolina. I didn’t graduate from there but I did further my education at Patrick Henry Community College in my home town. I’m pretty sure you know Kara Lawson that plays for the Sacramento Monarchs, well I was her teammate at the Virginia High School All-Star game back in 1999. She was the 1st leading scorer and I was 2nd leading scorer. I’ve been playing basketball my whole life and my biggest dream was to be the first girl in the NBA. ( I knew that would never happen). Now there’s a WNBA, I know I have the ability to succeed and accomplish my goals. Basketball is my life and I’m good at it and I’m willing to do anything to make my dream come true. If you have any references please email me at tekeshiamitchell@yahoo.com. Thank you for your time and God bless you.

  19. Cassandra Womack  |  December 18th, 2007 at 3:03 #

My name is Cassandra Womack former player of 4 years of Shenandoah University, in Winchester, Va. I am a athletic player that can make plays all over the court. I am primarily a 3,4. I have obtained a numerous amount of basketball honors including USA South Conference honors. I currently hold the record for being the 1st individual to reach 1,000 rebounds in Shenandoah History. I am also ranked among the nation’s leaders in rebounding. For 3 years in a row I have lead our team and conference in rebounding. I am disciplined on and off the court and a firm believer that DEFENSE wins games. I can score easily. I am more of a slasher, the first one to get the rebound and one of the first down the court to score. I always like to set my fellow players up for great passes and shots (sometimes it’s always that extra pass that completes the play). I am a phenomenal defender, always ready for the steal. I have an eye and a heart for a the game.

I have traveled to Italy (May 2006) and Dominican Republic (July 2007) to play with the International team.

My jumping ability is what separates me from most girls. It comes natural and I have been working on reaching the rim and dunking. I am 5′9 and 155lbs, athletic build and in shape. I currently train with former Washington Redskin’s trainer Tony Spinosa. Most importantly besides athletic ability I am determined to make it as far as I can in my education. I have received my B.A. and now working on my M.B.A. I am 22 years old. I am training for the next availability whether it be overseas basketball or WNBA tryouts.

I would appreciate any type of information on anything you can give me.
Thank you for reading my comments, I hope something catches attention.

I am a 5′10 gaurd and I want to know when the tryout dates for WNBA tryouts. My enthusiam and passion and my versitility on the court sets me aside from other girls. I love basketball and I have a desire and need to continue playing ball. There have been many things that have held me back from going to the top schools to play ball, but nothing has ever held me back from playing ball completely, so as long as God gives me the strength and the ability to play I will continue to use the talent that I have been given to the best of my ability.

I am a 6′1 guard/power forward who is ready to play! I just graduated from college and I am looking to take my game to the next level. I can score, rebound, pass, and play defense. I am strong and can handle pressure. I just need someone to help me get my foot in the door of the next level. I went to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, went to Western Hillis high school where I averaged 30pts/15rebounds a game. Just trying to go to the next level any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Of course I have lots of basketball honors but the most important one would be taking my game to the next level whether it be overseas or in the WNBA. Appreciate the help!
